On a more positive note, after we recovered from the 2 week cold and restocked all of the boxes of kleenex in the house, we've had a lot of fun. Here are some of the highlights.
Sam likes to ride around the house in his backpack and do chores with me instead of taking his late afternoon nap. He loves to pull my hair and steal the phone from me but he is a very good listener! In this picture he's saying "Giddyup, Mom!"
Here are some pictures our our first family picnic. Mom and Dad didn't have time to eat anything and the babies' menu was oatmeal, applesauce and sweet potatoes.
Here my friend and I are still alive after kayaking on the Potomac. Supposedly downstream was going to be easier than up, but the current was so strong it pulled us in all the wrong directions. We finally figured out how to go in a straight line and made it back to the dock!
Life is good. The boys are sweet. I love my husband and summertime!

I'm so sorry they were sick! Sometimes I feel like such a dope as a mom - if only they could TELL us what is wrong when they are that young! I guess when you have twins everything really is x2 - even colds. Glad it is all over now. But, could your boys be any cuter? I know I keep saying that, but really... I just can't get over it! I wish I could meet them.
It's good to have you back! You are all so beautiful! And I'm impressed with the kayaking (sp?).
HI K! I found your blog through the o's family page. HOW EXCITING TO HEAR YOU HAVE TWINS! CONGRATULATIONS! That is so just so wonderful. They are so adorable! I love the pics! Keep posting and keep in touch! PS Tell your Dad that we still talk about the wonderful Swedish toast he gave at our wedding dinner. :)
