After doing all of the laundry the other day, I found this pea in my washing machine. I have so many questions. How long had it been sitting in the laundry pile? How long was someone wearing it in their clothes without knowing it? Is it clean enough to eat now that it's been through the laundry? How did it remain intact? It's not even wrinkled! Now that the boys are feeding themselves more and more, do they sell garbage disposals for washing machines?

I just found regular, old boring grass in my washing machine this morning. Not nearly as interesting as finding a pea! Could motherhood get any more exciting than this??! This reminded me of the chandelier in Mema and Papa's dining room. Did you know there was a pea stuck up there in the center part of the crystal fixture for about 50 years?? My dad said he somehow got it stuck up there when he was a kid and they never got it out. I always stared at it when we were there for dinner as a kid.
That truly is a mystery.
I wish I had found that instead of a scorpion in my laundry room the other day.....I seriously wanted to cry; they terrify me.
