Maybe I'm getting sentimental thinking about leaving Washington. I want to go see all of the sights and soak it all up before we have to go. Today we gave the boys a treat by taking them for a ride on the train into the city. They were a little bit nervous on the train and let us hold them but they were in heaven just looking around on the Choo Choo Train. We first went to the Washington Monument. Josh took some great pictures! The boys thought it was the temple and kept looking for M*oroni but we convinced them it was just the Monument. Michael keeps trying to say Monument, but it comes out Mommy-ment. I'll take it!
We stopped for some lunch before coming home and Michael wanted to eat my salad! He ate a few bites but then started spitting it out. He generally doesn't like anything slimy and I was impressed he got a few bites of spinach down.
Then, back to the exciting train and home for a long (hopefully) nap while I go to the grocery store.

What a fun day. The boys are so cute, and getting so big.
We totally did the whole whirlwind see the city before you pack up never to see it again thing before we left California. You have a few weeks. We had 2 weeks notice between when we said we're going and when we left! Enjoy it! Relive it as much as you can!
I must have missed something but congrats on the move!! But so sad that we won't be sharing the East coast with you anymore. DC is a very special place indeed!
Ooooh!! Didn't know about the big move!! (Isn't the blog world lovely?? NOW I know.) Congratulations!! Having you in California feels so much cozier to Utah! Keep us posted..
